Dr. Luisa Bravo is an Architectural Engineer, who received her education in Italy, France and the United Kingdom. She holds a Ph.D. in Building and Territorial Engineering from University of Bologna (Italy), with a thesis on Contemporary Urbanism. As postdoctoral researcher, she has been researching, teaching and lecturing since 2008 in several Universities in USA, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Australia. Since 2002, she has been a registered Architectural Engineer in Italy. In 2005, she founded her own professional studio “Bravo Design” in Bologna, where she currently works. Dr. Bravo is Charter member and President of City Space Architecture, a non-profit cultural association based in Bologna, which works as an international multidisciplinary research platform, focused on cities, urbanity and public space. In addition to being Visiting Assistant Professor at LAU, she is currently Adjunct Professor in Urban Planning and Design at the University of Florence, School of Architecture, Italy and Adjunct Associate Professor at the Queensland University of Technology, School of Design, Australia.
