Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Lunma started her career in fashion by working as an embellishment intern for Zara and other brands in Brazil. She moved to the United States where she awarded with Scholarships at FIDM and Chicago Art Institute. She then entered ESMOD and was awarded best fashion designer 2011, best designer/pattern maker 2012 and best designer/pattern maker 2013. After graduating, she was offered a job at Maison George Chakra as designer assistant and illustrator. She then moved to New York to continue her studies at FIT and Parsons, in the ready to wear industry. She then worked as a Stylist Assistant and Dresses Supervisor for different brands at fashion week.
