Born in Paris, Suyin Srouji began her artistic studies at the “Beaux-Arts in Nîmes”. She joined the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs” in 1994 and specialized in Textile Design. She worked in Textile and Trend companies such as Nelly Rodi, before directing his research to the world of Home and Decoration. Srouji has lived and worked in Beirut since 2010 and has conducted workshops in the Department of Fashion Design at the Lebanese American University since 2015. She is particularly interested in collaborative projects and community outreach with new creative approaches. In collaboration with the International Collage, the Lycée Français and the Collège Protestant Français, she has conceived and created a layout of a collection of poems in support of the association “Tahaddi”. In addition, she has illustrated three children’s books and, in 2016 was also part of the collective exhibition “BITASARROF” to raise funds for the Lebanese Foundation for the National Library in Beirut.
