Boulos El Cheikha El Douaihy is an architect, geographer and activist. He has an extensive experience in architectural and urban projects of various types and scales as well as a multidisciplinary approach to architecture, involving domains that vary from geography and sociology to parametric design and art installations. Founder and Managing Director at platau – platform for architecture and urbanism, Boulos considers every new project as a chance to push further the design process of finding interesting spatial and architectural solutions and investigating the role of architecture and planning in positively affecting people’s lives. Activist and part of local NGOs in the region of Zgharta, he is the originator of several studies and projects aimed at strategic thinking and planning. El Douaihy holds a D.E.S. in Architecture from the Lebanese University and a master in “Environment et Amenagement du Territoire” from the Université Saint-Joseph.
