Patrick Abou Khalil graduated in 2010 from the Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik (USEK) with an Architecture degree. He received the 2010 Charderji Award for the Best Academic Architectural Project in Lebanon. In 2015, he completed a Master of Advanced Studies in Urban Design at ETH, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. The collaborative work of the M.A.S. Urban Design program was published in the Shenzhen Biennale in 2015 under the title Radical Cairo: From Agrarian Land to New Urban Forms in Cairo and in the Venice Biennale in 2016 as a contribution to the Egyptian pavilion. Abou Khalil has also been a part-time assistant instructor at USEK since 2013, teaching “Design Studio I” and “Design Studio II” courses. In Spring 2016, he joined the Lebanese American University as a part-time instructor for “Design Studio IV”. In 2010, he established PGAK, an architecture and urban design platform practice.
