Randa Abdel Baki is an artist, professor and a visual designer residing in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2009, she served as the Chairperson of the Graphic Design Department for five consecutive years. Randa’s designs and work have been exhibited and published internationally.
Her scholarly studies on pattern designs, and bilingual typography made her a reference on the subject matter. She presently lectures on “The Challenges of Bilingual Typographic Systems” in Universities and venues worldwide. Randa completed her graduate studies (MFA) at Pratt Institute in New York, where she also worked as a designer and art director with a focus on publication design, packaging and multimedia design for clients such as Proctor & Gamble, GM, Citibank, Sotheby’s, United Nations, and Estée Lauder.
