  • Exhibition: opening at 6:00 PM
    • like the delayed rays of a star contemplates the role of the gaze, the exhibition questions misplaced anxieties of what it means to grow up in a post 9/11 image landscape and to give birth in Beirut during the August 4, 2020 explosion.
      The photographs and films center around questions such as 
      —What is a home? Will there ever be another way to see Beirut?

      The exhibition is open on week days from 29 February to 13 March, 10:00 AM till 6:00 PM.

Artist Bio: 

Heather M O’Brien-Takahashi is an artist, filmmaker, and writer. She received an MFA from CalArts and her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA Los Angeles, the University Art Galleries at UC Irvine, Sursock Museum, and the International Center of Photography NYC. www.heathermobrien.com
