Bassem El Jisr

Bassem El Jisr is the Chief Executive Officer of Bridge Capital Holding, a private investment company, where he leads investment strategy, capital allocation, and portfolio diversification across multiple asset classes, with a focus on identifying investment opportunities and creating long term value.

Bassem serves on the boards of Pearl Brands, a prominent retail group in Lebanon, and Gray Mackenzie Retail Lebanon (GMRL), one of the country’s leading supermarket and hypermarket operators.

He previously served on the Investment Committee of BY Venture Partners, a venture capital firm based in the Middle East and North Africa, investing globally in companies at the seed and growth stages.

Bassem is a graduate of Regent’s University London and has completed executive education programs in Alternative Investments and AI Essentials for Business at Harvard Business School Online. He has also pursued executive education at IMD, completing programs in board governance, risk oversight, and board dynamics. He is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization).
