Carla Al-Hage

Carla Al-Hage is an architect and urbanist, and a landscape architect by practice. She has a strong experience in landscape architecture design and build, as well as management. Her professional career was mostly focused on luxurious resorts landscape design as well as Public Realm projects (parks, streetscapes, cycling tracks and stations, signage, etc.) in the exceptional landscape of AlUla, KSA. She has worked as a Designer, Manager and Project Architect for renowned offices such as PwC Middle East and Vladimir Djurovic Landscape Architecture. 

Carla has previously worked on urban research projects as part of the Beirut Urban Lab, AUB, and her publications as co-author include “Unplanned links, unanticipated outcomes: Urban refugees in Halba (Lebanon)” in Environment and Planning D: Society and Space.

Carla holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy in Architecture and Urban Studies from the University of Cambridge, UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Notre Dame University, Lebanon.
