Dana Muhsen

Dana Muhsen is an architect, designer and educator. Currently, she is a lecturer at the Lebanese American University and the American University of Beirut, instructing design studios ranging from first-year to upper-level architecture and design students. Dana has contributed to several academic publications, including her most recent work, Rethinking Udine: An Academic Experience in Lebanon. She is also the founder of byfiveten, a multidisciplinary design practice based in Beirut focused on a playful, innovative, and human-centered design discourse – a philosophy that she extends to her teaching, encouraging students to explore the intersections of architecture and design thinking to address human needs through an expanded understanding of architectural praxis.
