In 1995 Jurgi Persoons launched his own collection. He worked as assistent for Walter Van Beirendonck and Ann De Meulemeester. In 2017 Demna Gvasalia invited him as consultant at Balenciaga in Paris. Beside Jurgi Persoons was teaching fashion design at SAIC (The School of the Art Institute in Chicago) and UDK (University der Künste in Berlin). He became Head of the Fashion and Textile Department at KABK (Koninklijke Academie voor Beeldende Kunst) in The Hague. At the KABK he was teacher fashion design in the graduation year.’
