Namitta Merchak

Namitta Merchak is a Lebanese architect and urban designer, currently a Teaching Fellow at the Lebanese American University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Urban Design from the American University of Beirut. With a multidisciplinary approach, her work spans architecture, interior design, and large-scale urban projects, blending conceptual innovation with technical expertise.
 
Namitta’s research focuses on integrating urban design theories into practical solutions for both historic and contemporary environments. She actively collaborates with local authorities on urban development initiatives, emphasizing sustainable and community-driven design. As an architect, educator, and researcher, she continues to shape the built environment, contributing to the architectural discourse in Lebanon and beyond.
