For the past twenty years, Shawki Youssef’s artistic experience focuses on questioning art itself and its institutions as much as experimenting with adequate tools and mediums. Being an active multi-disciplinary artist since the mid 90’s, he uses drawing, painting, interactive performance, prints, videos and text among other elements as forms of artistic expression.
