Yara Abboud graduated with a bachelor of architecture from the Lebanese American University (2014) and received a master’s degree in urban and architectural design from the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milano (2016). Following an internship at David Chipperfield Architects’ Milan office, she returned to Beirut and joined Bernard Khoury/DW5 in 2017 as collaborating architect until early 2021. She was engaged in assisting the production of projects of varying scales, from the early planning phase to construction supervision. She currently practices as a registered architect in Beirut and has joined LAU in Spring 2021, to teach in the foundation program.
