The School of Architecture and Design invites you to Diaries of the Swahili Coast: Zanzibar’s Arab Heritage exhibition.

Through vivid colors and textured compositions, Bassima Houjeij traces her journey from Tanzania to Lebanon, evoking Zanzibar as one of the last enduring Arab legacies along the Swahili Coast. In conversation with the photography of Philippe Demoulin, her work unfolds as a layered narrative of memory, place, and heritage.

The exhibition will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through November 21 (closed on Sundays).
