The Institute of Art in the Arab World (IAAW) is pleased to invite you to an online symposium titled Image, Conflict, Memory: Illustrating Through War.
The session, moderated by Professor Yasmine Taan, Director of the IAAW, will bring together three established artists/illustrators to reflect on their work. It will explore how images help us engage with and navigate times of conflict, and what sustains creative practice in moments of uncertainty and war.
