Ceremony Celebrating a Donation: Marie El-Khazen’s Two Women Dressed Up as Men

The Institute of Art in the Arab World (IAAW), in collaboration with the Arab Institute for Women (AIW), the Arab Image Foundation, and the Philip A. Salem Academy for Lebanese Heritage, cordially invites you to celebrate its new acquisition: an iconic photograph by Marie el-Khazen, generously donated by Mohsen Yammine and now on permanent display at the Riad Nassar Library.
The celebration will be followed by a discussion with Mohsen Yammine and Yasmine Nachabe Taan,associate professor and director of the IAAW at LAU, of the pioneering Lebanese photographer’s work and legacy.
