SArD Faculty Research Day

On April 26, the School of Architecture and Design held its first Faculty Research Day. This one-day event brought together research active and interested faculty members from across the school homing in on both scholarly and practice-based research unique to art, design, and architecture.

This event was organized by the SArD Teaching and Learning Committee. The morning sessions included eleven presentations by faculty members of the school. The afternoon included a presentation by Dr. Walid Marrouch, the Assistant Dean of the Graduate Studies and Research office at LAU, on research-related support and resources offered by the university. This led into discussions on various research challenges and opportunities.

Presentations were given by: Randa Abdel Baki, Chahid Akoury, Hicham Bou Akl, Stephanie Dadour, Roula El Khoury, Leyla El Sayed Hussein, Michel Francis, Lee Frederix, Elie Haddad, Elie Harfouche, Melissa Plourde Khoury, Roger Skaff and Yasmine Taan.
