“Draw Me A Sheep” Faculty Fine Art Exhibition

On Thursday 04 December, SArD lauched our Faculty Fine Art Exhibition in the Gezairi Art Gallery under the theme “Draw Me A Sheep”. Below is a message from the show’s curators, Christine Kettaneh and Lee Frederix

“Inspired by the Little Prince’s earnest request, we asked SarD faculty members to share their “sheep” with us. This was a call to explore not just what is asked for but what is truly needed, for something that cannot quite be named but still must be drawn. It was an invitation to return to a space of imagination, playfulness, and wonder in our art practices. And the results shared here are thoughtful and imaginative interventions that resonate with the emotional intelligence of The Little Prince.”

The show features the work of 30 faculty members and will be on display in the gallery daily until 19 December.
